Description

So, as all my UK fans will know, yesterday there was a massive storm that swept across England, mainly focusing on the east where I am in Lancashire. Despite the 90 MPH winds, the torrential rain, and the hail the head of my University Module for Thursdays still thought it was a perfectly safe idea to make everyone battle against the elements to make it in to give a presentation worth 40% of my marks. 

Now, if it wasn't for that 40%, I'd have played it safe and stayed in my flat, alas I ended up having to walk to Uni in what was pretty much the eye of the storm. The hail was so painful it's left a series of red pricks on my hands and face, and the wind was so strong that I ended up holding onto a lamppost for dear life for a full five minutes, not to mention the rain which soaked me right down the bones! And at the end of it there I was, giving a presentation I really didn't want to do in clothes that were completely dripping with water. Oh, the things I do for my Animation & Illustration degree!

So yeah, have my OC battling the wind. He's had a bit of a design tweak so now a tin kettle adorns his flank instead of a teacup, so it now suits his name of 'Kettle Master' much better. I'm fairly certain my feet may have left the ground like that at one point. No doubt if I'd had an umbrella I could have become Bolton's answer to Mary Poppins! =P
