This actually happened a few days ago, but I've unfortunately been detained by other matters (More on that later!)
As always, a big thank you to fans both old and new. And for those of you who fall into the 'new' category, welcome aboard!
In the words of the robot bus conductor from 'The Greatest Show in the Galaxy': "Ding ding! Hold tight! Any more fares?"
---
On a random side note, despite hating it to the point where I stopped watching halfway through last time I listened to it, I decided to give the film of 'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds: The New Generation' another try. Having watched it all the way through now, I think it's safe to say that the only thing that really ruins it is the guy singing the sung thoughts of the journalist. It's just such a shame he's featured so early on and rather heavily during the first act. You just can't beat the legacy of Justin Haywood!
I am however, taking quite quickly to the new version of 'The Eve of the War'!
Don't get me wrong, I'll still always love the original (You can't beat a classic!) but this is seriously starting to grown on me!

Stream Appearance! Saturday 30th March!
Good news everyone! This coming Saturday (March 30th) I'll be joining a whole bunch of other pony artist's as we play some silly drawing games for a good cause. It's going to be streaming over on Youtube so if you've got the time to spare go give it a watch, it's probably going to be wild! Gartic Phone YouTube LiveStream Oh, also whilst I'm here and don't tend to post journal's all too often, many many thanks to the anonymous person who gifted me a DA Core membership! Very much appreciated, I just wish I knew who you were so I could thank you properly!
EQD Arist Training Grounds starts tomorrow!
Or today, is you're in the US. Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey and all that... Just your last minute reminder that the annual Equestria Daily Artist Training Ground begins June 7th (Or June 8th if like me you're in the UK) Assuming @Calpain-EqD is using the same timings as last year, the first prompt could be going live at 5AM GMT. Don't quote me on that though, I am but a willy participant, not one of the organisers. Do check the times yourself, I'm probably wrong!
Equestria Daily Artist Training Ground incoming!
This just in! Equestria Daily's regular 'Artist Training Ground event returns on JUNE 7TH! In short: 30 day, 30 random prompts, 24 hours for each prompt. There's no obligation to complete all 30 days, you're welcome to dip and choose which ones you want to draw, but for those who want to possibly improve their art or for anyone starting out, this is really great event to get your teeth into! All skill levels welcome! Even someone as old 'art wise' as me, I just like the random prompts! For more information, check out the link below, though more information will probably be posted nearer the time:
Tis The Season!
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and an even Happier New Year! Hope you all have a great time, however you celebrate. Also, I'd like to give a big thank you to the anonymous deviant who gifted me a core membership! Much appreciated!

I feel like the riff at the start of The Eve of War is something that most people have heard, even if they have no idea where it's from. And I can see why you might not have been so keen on the new one - I hear influences of rave music in there in places.
Also, congrats on the watchers!
